CAR Transport Cost: Cars cost a bit more than $1 million in the US, but they are cheaper than a new car for most people.
A Tesla Model X costs just under $20,000 and an entry-level Tesla Model 3 costs around $40,000.
That’s about $600 per day to run the two vehicles.
There are more vehicles on the road now than in the 1950s.
For a family of four, that means a Tesla is more than half the cost of a new vehicle today.
A new car is $13,400 to $17,200, depending on options, and a Tesla starts at around $70,000 in annual sales.
